I upgraded from a gigabyte GTX 460 (yeah i know...) to a MSI GTX 950 2X Armor. I have one monitor connected via HDMI and one that only accepts VGA, so I have an adapter DVI to VGA connected that. I've used these same cables for my GTX 460, so I know that they work. The problem seems to be that which ever monitor is connected through the HDMI cable is not found by windows. I've tried using the "detect" button in the screen resolution window, but no luck. I'm not sure that the cord is defective as when I first installed the card I only ran the HDMI and the DVI/VGA couldn't be found by windows.
Any ideas? I've also tried restarting the computer, unplugging and replugging, and I updated the drivers to the newest versions.
