MSI GTX 960 Good for Minecraft with Shaders?

Was planning on getting the MSI GTX 960 100me edition, I am hearing mixed reviews about it, what kind of FPS do you think I would get on Minecraft with shaders?

Other specs:
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0 ghz
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB
CORSAIR CSM Series CS650M

Minecraft is heavily CPU bound, not GPU. However shaders are a little demanding and A GTX 960 would handle it just fine.

Minecraft is really hard to tell what fps you're going to get as it's slightly unstable. Expect 100ish fps though.

I would look at problems at the recent update. With an i5 3570 and r9 290, I get fps problems with it. Turn your settings down and wait for the next version to fix the previous version.

That's why I said Minecraft is un-stable.
