MSI GTX 970, Are the temps fine?

Hey guys, got my msi 970 4g gaming edition a month ago and i'm getting 72-73C on full load with 95% power draw and 60% fan speed on witcher 3 and if i overclock +100 core and +400 memory i'm getting 78-79C constantly when the power draw is 105% (max is 110%) and fan speed is at 75%, isn't that like too much? my old 7850 was getting 65-66C when oc'd and fan speed was 40% only but was louder than my msi, i have checked the fans and they seem to be running okay, this is my psu if it matters (Got it today brand new): evga supernova g2

Yeah 70-75 degrees under load is normal for a 970.

seems fine for a NVidia card to me I thought I read that NVidia set the throttling temp at around 85c ?? may research that

personally i feel 79 is too high. closer to 70 is where i like to be. if i was at 79 i would crank the fan higher. technically they dont shut themselves down until the high 80's but it degrades the card faster to run it hot hot.

i dont feel good about 79C aswell, how heigher tho? the fans are already at 75%..

yeah 75 is crankin on those fans isnt it? the only other option is to get better airflow into your case if thats a problem....or back the overclock off

The nVidia specification page for the reference 970 says 98C is the max GPU temperature although, I've never heard of one getting that hot, nor would I ever let mine reach that point, if I had one.
