msi gtx 970 fan?

hello , i just brought a pc build with gtx 970 msi brand card, i noticed that my fans turns on after 15 sec and both fans turn off? is this some kind of feature? worried that my card might overheat

if you dont use your cards for gaming..........the card wont simply heat and thus the fans wont turn on
