MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4g coil whine sound.

Hey guys, I noticed when running Overwatch on my GTX MSI 970, I would get coil whine, same with others games as well. Coil whine is normal I know this for sure however- my card does not emit a high pitched zzzzzzzzzzz sound like most videos would suggest. It's more like a steady buzz, if that makes any sense. It's not the fan that emits this noise as it doesn't even activate until 60C and I get it as soon as I load a game up so what gives?

Is this sound normal with my card? I can sometimes barely hear the same buzz to a degree even when I'm not playing anything.

The sound is exactly like this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ffVqmYdfCCc except at a lower frequency and not as loud. This mainly happens with games that are more intensive and not as a result of a sickeningly high FPS causing said noise. Is this normal? Thank you for your time?

A buddy of mine had a similar problem and when he contacted msi they said that that was just standard coil whine unfortunately it's just one of those things you're going to have to deal with although if you get a set of decent headphones when you're playing your games it should help drown that out. But I totally get it, I'm big on having a quiet PC so having something like that drives me nuts

Thanks for the response! The sound doesn't bother me at all in and of itself. I got good headphones but I expected the coil whine to be more high pitched and not like a low buzzing, so I wanted to confirm before I started thinking it was just my card haha ^^ thanks, dude!
