MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G, pci slot questions.

I only have a PCI-e x16 slot, and am super concerned the gpu i ordered might not fit, and only realized after i ordered it.

every gfx these days uses a pci e x16. It hasnt changed. So yes it would fit. and for you asking this question, what curious on your build? what cpu do you have?

I have an intel i5 3570, it concerned me because, it only mentions a PCIe 3.0 slot, and that's all.
