Hi guys,
Power Supply : Corsair CX600 watt
Motherboard : Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2
CPU : AMD FM2 A8 7650K APU Quad Core CPU 3.3Ghz (turbo 3.8Ghz) Black Edition
Memory : 16GB DDR3 1600mhz Memory
Graphics: AMD Radon R7 Series Graphics

I just installed a GTX 970 into my pc and after turning on my desktop, no signal appears.

So after playing around with PCI connectors I took out the 6pin but left the 8pin in the GTX 970 and hey ho my computer displays but will not pick up the card still.

But every time I put the 6 pin back in I get no signal?

Any suggestions?

Also I'm not too sure about Updating my bios etc as I saw it was a "risk" so if someone could enlighten me on that I would appreciate it.

Thank you :)

Solution
It might be because you have an APU and it is interfering with your GPU. You can also try updating the drivers and/or BiOS. I'm no expert on the BiOS, but I can tell you a few things about something else lol. Just ask! I'm happy to help :D

Sorry I took long to reply.

The problem was that the Graphics card didn't recognize the HDMI at all, at first. I plugged in a DVI adapter to my VGA connection which I found and it finally worked! not sure if this was a main occurrence or a 1 off in my case, but its all working now :)

Thanks for the reply anyway!
