Which of these graphics cards is better in a matter of aesthetics, performance, clock speeds, temperature, fan noise and overclocking potential?

The Gigabyte is faster out of the box, it also runs cooler but is noisier as to be expected as it has 3 fans, it has more overclocking potential with a 12 power phase vs 10 on the MSI, but you probably know about the silicon lottery and you might get one that doesn't overclock at all.

Aesthetics are completely subjective

I just got the MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming 6G LE myself. Now my CPU & motherboard are bottlenecking bc I didn't research enough and should have gotten an Intel setup.

I chose the LE bc it was cheaper out of the box & could be overclocked; so I saved the extra dough and have the same performance. Thus far it seems relatively quiet. I just pulled atleast 60fps in The Division on Ultra quality settings. It has an LED on the card that you can tweak how it lights up.

I'm personally loving the card and will fix the bottleneck CPU/board in due time.
