So I recently got a MSI GTX 980 Ti gaming and I'm currently using the MSI gaming app to boost the core clock to around 1400MHz, and I've been wondering what would happen if I overclocked my GPU beyond that using the Afterburner and still be using the MSI gaming app at the same time, so, anyone has any idea what would happen? Would the GPU downclock from the afterburner settings back to the Gaming APP settings or would it remain OCed because of the afterburner? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I know this is kinda silly but I'm just curious

Nothing will really change

For example: you set the boost intothe msi gaming app and it goes to 1400. Then you open the afterburner and set it to 1450 the msi gaming app will be like "ok bruh" and will just sit and watch what you do with afterburner. And if you disable the boost from the app the afterburner will be like "ok bruh" too and follow the msi gaming app.
