So yeah, firstable I am sorry for being a "noob". First time pc building.
The only problem I ran into is my gtx 980 has 2x8 pin, but the psu has 1x6 and 1x6+2.
The gpu had an adapter (6pin to 8pin)
So one side I installed the 6+2 and the other the 6 pin with the adapter.
It works. Is that it, or should I worry about any consequences ?
Really need an answer..:)

Solution
My bad the TS Bronze also doesn't have them LOOKED AT THE WRONG PIC , the XFX TS GOLD 550W and the XFX XTR 550W have the 2 - 6+2 pins.

Both Bronzes don't. Core or TS.

XFX TS 550W and XTR 550W have the right connections.

So I have the TS model, but the other 8 pin connector only goes to the mobo. So i tried this now: One of them with the 8pin and I plugged in the 6 pin to the other one.
Is this a better solution than the adapter? Btw thanks for your time..:)

I see. So the TS does not have 2 6+2 connector just one. oh snap. I thought this psu will be a good choice but seems like I have to buy a new one and sell this. Do you recommend something?

I am going with your solution. Thank you! (Btw just to be clear. Until I got my new psu can I use it like this ? (with adapter) I don't think that this is going to ruin my gpu but its better to ask..
