MSI GTX560 ti Twin Frozr Fan speed questions

I just put together a new computer last week and am seriously thinking about overclocking my cpu/gpu and I had question about my gpu.

I have been looking around in afterburner and had a question about fan speed settings. Should I leave them on automatic for overclocking or is there a rule of thumb that people are using in terms of gpu temp/speed.

If you leave it on auto then when you overclock the fan will automaticaly adjust to the temps and you don't have to manualy adjust it. Since the temps rise and lower according to what the card is doing you don't want to set it at one speed .

I know I don't want it set at one speed, but there is a 4 point curve that I can set and based on 4 different gpu temps, the fan speed will adjust.

I was just wondering if there are some standard curves that are more generally used than just the auto settings.
