MSI h110m gaming mobo

So i got this Motherboard and i also have the G4560 cpu and i know it may require a BIOS update. My question is, since the BIOS is from last year's October, is there a chance that the mobo will already have it since i got it a few days ago ? (I can't check for myself yet, because i haven't finished collecting the parts for my pc.)

You can try contacting MSI customer support, they should be able to tell you which version of BIOS the board has just by its serial number.

Hello guys, i know this has been answered already a lot of times but i still have some things that i want to make clear for myself. So, i got a G4560 and msi h110m gaming, but i am not going to put them together yet (i need to get my other parts as well) So, from what i know it should be with updated BIOS but it also has a chance not to be in which case i should update it myself with another CPU. So my questions are is there someone who got this MOBO (and it had updated BIOS and could support 7th gen CPUs) who can confirm it, and also will i be able to update it with a pentium G3250 ?

You should be able to update with the 4560. The 3250 will not boot as it is a different socket. If I were you I would get the update ready on a USB stick, and then run the update as soon as you can get into the BIOS.

Just so you are aware B250 motherboards are under $60.

Most h110 boards don't have the bios update. If it boots with the g4560 then update the bios if it doesn't boot return the board. You can't update it with the g3250 it's a completely different socket.

Hopefully they don't charge you to much for it. Otherwise a b250 board would have just been the better choice.
