Question MSI H61M-P31/W8 motherboard doesn't detect ram

Hello, I have a MSI H61M-P31/W8 motherboard, and I have 2x4GB Samsung DDR3-12800 ram installed, but it does not detect all of the ram, only one stick, when I went into BIOS, it only says there is 4GB of physical ram installed, when I went to Windows, it says there is 4GB of ram installed, how do I fix this?

test with 1 stick to see if 1 of the slot failed? or 1 of the ram stick fail

yeah ive tried that, the slot failed
