Whats the deal about win2000 not supporting udma/100 ??? I have the board thats in subject (supports udma100) and ibm hdd that also supports udma100, but my freinds tell me, i should put win98se instead of win2000pro. because the win2k dont support udma100 ??? advice needed badly !!!

Hey dont wory about that to much your hard drive performance will not be any different with udma66 than 100 and this is a via 4n1 driver issue that will not remain that way for long and i think that the 4.28 beta drivers do support udma100 in win2k.

It should be fine. I'm running win2k on my Celeron 433 laptop with 96 MB of ram, and it still manages to run pretty fast. My roomate uses 64 MB of ram on a PII 300 laptop, and he doesnt have any problems.

Then again, up till now I haven't really cared too much about speed.
