I am perplexed on this issue. I have heard good things about the k9A2 Platinum and I went to change my order on newegg this morning only to find that the product has been deactivated (whatever that means).

I just wanted to know if anyone has figured out what the problem is. The only thing that I thought of was the SB600 replacement, however, that isn't slated till next year I thought. Anyhow, I would appreciate it if you guys could let me know.

Well here is another update. Newegg deactivated all of the AMD 790 chipset boards. This is certainly an interesting turn of events. I wonder if there are problems with the 790. I have a GA-MA790X-DS4 which should be here tomorrow. I'm very confused as to why they wouldn't pull all the 790 boards.

What are you talking about?

790X and 790X boards are available on NewEgg.
I just bought one today (790X).

I was hunting for the MSI 790FX everywhere too but at that price they are hard to get.
