Question MSI laptop CPU cooler

Is 2264RPM at idle normal for an MSI GF66 laptop? Temp is 37 degrees. Cheers.

Your laptop has two fans to manage the thermals it's internals. Which fan is showing that RPM? If one fans is showing as 0 RPM while the other is 2264RPM, you should be fine. Can you hear anything odd off the fans in your cooling solution? If not, nothing to worry about. Use HWMonitor and MSI's Dragon Center to see if the RPM's are the same. Can you also see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates?

One fan is showing as 0 whilst other is 2264RPM. Nothing odd off the fans. No BIOS updates. If I use MSI center to put laptop into super battery mode, the fan goes silent in idle. Cheers.
