Question MSI Laptop Studdering and Crashing

I have purchased a MSI gf65 thin about 6 months back and it worked fin for around a month then all of a sudden it became really studdery and laggy under normal use, like trying to scole on a page would freeze everything up and then a few seconds later it would unfreeze and be back to normal. Or apps would take a really long tome to open up. But when using to game on the games run perfect and as expected, not a studder or a hickup at all. And after contacting msi on multiple occasions with no response that has led me here. So what are some reasons as to why it studders and freezes under any uses case other than gaming?

Could be dust buildup in the cooling fan or outlet/inlet grill.
Are your temperatures ok ?
Can you run UserBenchMark and post result ?
