MSI Launches Four AMD RX 470 'Gaming' Graphics Cards
That is meant to be sarcastic i believe. Since graphics cards are meant for gaming usually ( at least the consumer level ones ) , so they dont prefer MSI or anyone using 'Gaming' in their name. Everyone seems to be doing it now. ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte. Except EVGA maybe among the big names.
Yeah. Gaming is mostly because these GPUs are already meant for gaming but MSI decided to make them part of a so-called "Gaming" series. Think of the term "Gaming" like "Quadro" is for nVidia - a brand.
It could also be interpreted such as "check these wanna-be "gaming" cards out", for sure. It's not like they're more than strategic products for poorer countries. Other than that they make no sense priced so close to the RX-480s.
2 slot design again?
Come on, MSI. The PCB itself begs compact cooling solution by default. Is it so hard to achieve? Some AIB's design for 480 manages this. Why not everyone do the same? How could you not understand the bliss of having something so small yet capable?
