Hello, I just recently bought an MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR 6GB OC and it came with a driver and utilities disk, which I inserted in my computer after mounting the graphics card in place. It installed the MSI live Update 6 version 6.2.0.05 which if i try to execute the following window pops up "the platform does not support this application". Not only the Live Update but also the Msi gaming app shows the same error. I have did a lot of research but it doesnt seem to get anywhere near a solution. the msi support website is always timing out and cant send my questions to them. so i decided to try my luck here as i heard that msi offers a somewhat ridiculous support.

My rig:
Processor: AMD FX-8320 Octacore 3.5Ghz
MB: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
8gb ram Kingston Hyper x beast 2400 mhz
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB OC

Windows 10 64 bit
DirectX 12.0

Hello... Typically you need Microsoft.NET Framework 4? or greater installed on your OS for these Online services. Sometimes they include the Link on the media disk. Or you can just look at your Microsoft suggested updates to get it, or just google it for the Microsoft download page.

Thanks for replying to my issue.
I have checked before all the requirements for a succesfull execution of the application i have net framework 4 and checked for updates on it. Im just stressing with this because my boot time increased like hell and everything seems slower on my computer because of a huge upgrade on my GPU (AMD R9 280 3GB to GTX 1060 OC 6GB) i think the live update is what would make my GPU perform smoother in my rig.
A lot of people shown to have this problem as well but i cant seem to find a fix :/

thank you for the feedback

The thing is i noticed some boot duration issues and even a whole windows crash which never happened to me before, everything on my system seems a little bit slower somehow oppening chrome booting the system the worst part is executing the live update 6 and getting the error it proceeds to uninstall some driver related to my GPU as I saw a pop up from IObit uninstaller saying "nvidia physx was removed" so i think the solution would be to use the live update which i can't really 🙁

Update! (because yesterday didnt really had the time): I went and tried various games in the new GPU and my old one performed better, this one shows a lot of stuttering and worst performance which you would not expect at all. It seems I have a lot of DPC Latency too as i checked that first
