Why did you update? If there was no compelling reason to update, "roll back" to the previous driver version in Device Manager.

Don't update a driver just because it's not the latest version. If a driver works properly, leave it alone.

I had the same issue. @Philip Corcoran - It's not a driver, it's a utility that scans and updates drivers ... so like others, if there is an update to this application, it makes sense to install it as likely it fixes bugs. I received the same issue this morning after updating.

Exactly my point, don't update if everything is already working okay. As for updates getting rid of bugs, they can also introduce new bugs too - don't forget that. Which is why you shouldn't just blindly update everything without a very good reason.
