MSI LIVE Updater 6 6.0.0.022

This thing updated itself ad then halfway through it said that there was no uninstaller file (Which there is). Then when I pressed Try Again .... Nothing! Did this 5 or 7 times to no avail... Then pressed ignore and it seemed to install. then when I went to open it it says "Platform does not support this application"
So i contact MSI and they were about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard !!! Told me to reinstall windows FFS!

Has anyone else here had same of similar issues...

I have pics if needed and any help is appreciated

Here is your support software

Choose Utility
Be sure to uninstall your existing MSI Live update and install the new one on the website.
Also keep in mind do not install bios updates with MSI live update as you will brick it, hasn't happend to me but people are saying that.

If you still get platform not supported install Intel Management Engine components, it should resolve the issue. (I had this issue when installing MSI gaming app, the Intel Management Engine should be under the section drivers)

and the big problem is it wont neither update nor uninstall....
Now I know about finding the drivers etc on the website but THANK YOU for showing me the link I am still grateful for that because you got me straight to the pages that count. Saved & Bookmarked so cheers....

But I still need to uninstall this utility....!

And like I said all MSI are offering by the way of advice is to reinstall Windows 8.1 and F*@k that.... That was such a hassle....
Microsoft sending the wrong activation code, giving them call to activate then that didn't work lol god I was at it for half a day just to activate it to update it to 8.1......
So no reintall is certainly NOT the way I want to go.....

I just need to know how to uninstall Live Updater 6 6.0.022

Well at least everything is going well, and im glad you didn't do what MSI said because thats ridiculous.

Ok I see the issue. To fix this lets first install the new program without uninstalling the old one. The new program should overwrite the old and fix the issue. If the issue still persists please contact me
