Im using the MSI H61M P31 (G3) (old board, i know) and i was trying to update the bios to the lastest version 2.7. I Unzipped the file and copied it to the USB (2gb) but when i went in the bios and tried to update it, it said that there was no file in the drive. I have formatted the drive and found that it was FAT but when reading many threads, many people say it should be FAT32. I have no idea what this means and much help would be appreciated.

Btw my cpu is the i5 2500k (i know, an unlocked chip on a non-unlocked board)

1. Right-click Computer
2. Click Manage
3. Expand Storage > click Disk Management
4. Select the thumb drive in the Volume list
5. Right-click it and click Format
6. Click on the File system: list box and select FAT32
7. Click OK

Once on the USB drive you may need to click on the USB drive letter until the file you need appears, then select that file.
