My computer has been randomly restarting ever since it was built. I have checked all software and its all good. I have changed PSUs. and reseated rams. Its still rebooting.

One weird thing is, my computer works fine if the 8-pin CPU power cable isn't all plugged. i mean only 4 pins are plugged on the motherboard then it becomes a little bit stable, it only restarts like once a day. But when I plug all 8 pins it restarts so often. If the PC boots, it would only take 5-10 minutes to reboot again. Would really appreciate your suggestions and fixes for this.

What is the exact model of your power supply AND are you using ONLY the cables that came specifically WITH it, or are you repurposing ANY cables from a prior PSU? Yes, pinout matters from model to model and certainly from brand to brand. Just need to be sure because we see this happen a lot. What we don't see a lot is problems when you USE the EPS cable versus the high number of problems we see when people don't. In fact, for a lot of CPUs it won't even POST without at least some of the supplemental EPS 12v power.

My power supply model is Cooler Master MWE 750 gold v2 fully modular psu. I only use the cables that came with it and not repurposing old cables.

Edit: when 4-pins is only plugged in, my computer only reboots when I use apps that consume high power. but when all 8-pins are plugged in, even when my computer is plugged in, it reboots by itself.

WHICH exact DIMM slots are your memory modules installed in? Starting at the CPU and working towards the side of the motherboard, 1, 2, 3, 4?

What is the exact model of your memory kit. Yes, this might be a very important factor.

How LONG has that PSU been in service prior to this build, or is it new when the build was new, and if so how long have you had this system?

Did you buy these parts new or did you recently get them used?

Are SOME parts from a prior build and some new, and if so, which are which?

What version of Windows and which build version of it, are you running?

What is your motherboard BIOS version?

In lieu of outside assistance, it would be VERY wise to go through both of these and see if you can't figure anything out using the outlined information.
