Question MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk Wifi DDR4 not getting past DRAM check

Hi. I built my new pc with the MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 mb about 6 months ago and it has been working perfectly till now. Yesterday I was using it all afternoon, took a break for dinner, came back and it would not wake up - monitors blank (normally have images showing after timeout). I rebooted, nothing would happen. Checking the MB, all the fans came on, led strip on RAM lit up, BIOS debug LED flashed red, then the RAM debug LED flashed yellow, and then nothing. The white VGA debug LED never comes on, green BOOT degub led never comes on, and there it sits, nothing happens.

I have tried clearing the CMOS, no change. Changed the video card, no change. Unplugged everything, took out RAM, booted, got the expected yellow debug led light on and beeping because of no ram. Put RAM back in, yellow debug light went on and off as expected, but then hung. Also removed the GPU, booted, expected to get the white debug LED light on, but no, nothing. And when it hangs there are no debug LEDs on.

Any thoughts? As I said, this has all been working great for 6 months.

Thanks,
Darwin

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

If you're working with two sticks of ram, work with one stick. If your processor has an iGPU, remove the discrete GPU from the platform and see if the system powers up.

Build specs:

CPU: i5-13600KF - Core i5 13th gen
MOB: MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4
GPU: ASRock Radeon RX 6700 XT Challenger D 12GB GDDR6
PSU: Corsair 850x
Drives: M.2 Samsung 1TB for OS, various SDD drives

All above components were new 6 months ago. Right now I have the GPU removed and the M.2 drive out, I should be getting the VGA debug led on, but after power on, the CPU debug led flashes, then the DRAM debug led flashes, then nothing. No leds on, and it hangs.

Hi. Build specs above. Did try with one stick of RAM. And don't have an iGPU. But I did try a different GPU that I know works, nothing made any difference.

Hi. Problem solved. It was the CPU. Took it to a shop, they swapped CPUs and everything worked. Bought a new one, rebuilt oc and all is right in the world once again.
