Question MSI Monitor Problem

I was using an external montior with my msi laptop (gl62m 7rdx) but after I installed Vmware Workstation it required a reboot after reboot my second monitor is no longer working.

When I plug in the hdmi cable it can detect the monitor(it turns on) but no display appears just gray screen. Also my laptop's own screen goes gray as well.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers? Also, which version of VMware are you dealing with? Latest BIOS on your laptop?
