Question MSI motherboard suddenly doesn't power on

I've had my computer for a little while, maybe around a year or so. I usually keep it on, which might not be the healthiest for it, but I have a couple servers and things that I need that run on there. Recently I found it off, originally attributing it to a dead PSU. No biggie, I ordered a new power supply and waited.

The new power supply is confirmed working in other computers but not in this one, which is a bit scary. I've gone through the process of taking it apart and putting it back together multiple times, wasting away my entire Saturday, and spent most of today wasting away at forums trying to find tips for troubleshooting. I am completely stumped as to what's going on. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

PC specs:
16 GB Ram (2x8)
Intel core i7 6700
Nvidia GeForce gtx 1050 ti
3 HDDs, 1 SSD (all sata)

always on? always off? they are old questions and my decade old always on PC is on the no problem side.

which MSI motherboard for starters?
will not power on at all? have you manually jumped the power pins with a conductor, bypass a faulty switch
no response to power at all? no fans jerk or spin, no leds flash? if nothing at all the board is gone?
no power at all precludes the possibility of POST, Power On Self Test. if you cannot even get that far...

So there is no power, I've tried different power switches that are confirmed working as well as jumping the pins with a key.

There's no fan spin, no LEDs, nothing.

It's kept on all the time normally.

One thing I didn't mention was that when the problem first arose, it powered on for a split second, then power was lost completely. I've checked the voltage setting, and since I'm in the us it's 115v, which it's set to. There is no switch on my power supply.
