I have a Ryzen 5 5600x, I got the new motherboard, except that after assembling everything, the CPU LED on the Ez debug remains lit, I updated the BIOS with the USB stick with the latest update released, but the problem still remains, I tried to search online because I was unsure if it was the CPU power supply, since I have an EVGA 600 br plus bronze which only has the PIN 8 and not 8 + 4,I ordered an adapter from 8 PIN to 8+4 PIN, I don't know if it will fix the problem.
Below I have put my components in case they are needed to understand the problem.

CPU: ryzen 5 5600x
Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 carbon wifi
RAM: 8x4 Corsair vengeance 3600 MHz
GPU: MSI RTX 3050 ventus 2x 8gb
Power supply: EVGA 600 BR plus bronze

I hope to find a solution, otherwise I will have to reassemble the old motherboard.

pretty sure that power supply comes with 2 8 pins for graphics card

PCIe2x 8pin (6+2)

EPS (CPU)1x 8pin (4+4)

also noted make sure the correct cables are inserted you should not need a adapter for anything if your using the correct cable

plugging the wrong cable in will damage the motherboard

the power supply only has an 8 PIN (4+4) for CPU, but on the motherboard there is an input for an 8+4 PIN as power supply, I looked online and they say that the additional 4 PIN for powering the CPU is only needed in case of overclocking the CPU, but I updated the BIOS and all the other components are working, I don't know what to do at this point other than trying to insert an 8 + 4 PIN as power supply for the CPU instead of the normal 8 PIN

personally unless your planning to overclock then i would send back the board i have had more issues with msi on these forums if you have to use a adapter i personally wouldnt use it even if it was for overclocking

go with something like asrock or gigabyte
