I have just built a PC for my friend, during the boot of windows from a thumb drive the pc wasn't detecting the Ethernet cable plugged into the back, nor any WIFI networks.
I looked online and it said you can go into the control pannel and enter oobe\bypassnro and click the 'i don't have internet option'. but upon booting up the PC and multiple restarts the PC still isn't able to detect the wired or wireless connections. i have downloaded the latest LAN drivers from the MSI website related to the motherboard, stuck it into the pc and moved the files to the local disc, still having the same issue, any help?

Many times you need to load the chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacture before you can even attempt to install drivers for ethernet. Generally without the chipset drivers you will not even see the network devices in the device manager.

You also have to be careful sometime windows install puts in a wrong driver and you then have to mess around to get the proper one installed.
