My mother board MSI MS-7673 as in the thread title is constantly flashing 3 out of 4 lights next to "ActivePhaseSwitching" which is directly next to CPU. It would be nothing since it should do that but there are constant scratching, electrical-interference-like sounds while it does so. I thought that maybe there is something wrong with bios so i updated it but it changed nothing. Does this indicate some kind of damage? I'm worried that it might be slowly dying.

Ok so from your manual it refers to 3 vs 4 phase power mode. If you go into bios, then green power, it allows you to specify phase power mode. Whatever it is on currently, say 3 phase (since you mention 3 lights on and blinking), switch it to 4 phase and see if the noise stops.
It seems to be related to active power phase switching, whatever that is. Better explanation here:

One of the last posts does describe a possible way to get around it with turning off auto processor power adjustment followed by manual voltage adjustment. Ultimately if the noise doesn't bother you terribly, leave it.

OK, i tried the solution in the thread and it seems that it's exactly what's said there. The "extra power being thrown back into capacitance when SpeedStep throttles down the CPU". So it's the noise of extra power being send back instead of used up. Seemingly harmless. It was annoying and nerveracking mostly because i thought that some hardware is dying in there and i can't afford to buy new parts as of yet. Well, you calmed me down. Than you for that good sir.
I wish you a good day.
