This is the first time I've tried to do any sort of upgrade since I installed windows 10 64bit OS.

I have an MSI MS-7778 Jasmine motherboard and it will not detect my Gigabyte AMD Radeon R7 240 Graphics card.

I've just ran with the Onboard Graphics until now.

I installed the new drivers from Gigabyte support and restarted, but the new card isn't recognized by the Device Manager.

Please help.

I did enter bios and make sure that the PCI Express x16 slot was enabled.

Apparently this card is not compatible at all with the MS-7778 MOBO.

I realize that it's a PCI Express 3.0 card, but I figured that it would simply run at 2.0. Not just ignore that the card existed.

I didn't even know that was possible for it to ignore hardware, but I guess if it doesn't understand it, I might as well have put a paperweight in there.
