I want to upgrade my MSI nightblade M1 by buying a GTX 1060, but since the PC's power supply only has 350w, it wouldnt work right? Is it possible to swap the power supply out with a stronger one?

Depends on the computer you have, some OEM motherboards have proprietary power connections and some cases can only accept certain size power supplies. Aside from that, if you have a normal ATX case and motherboard, then yes you can get a better power supply. Corsair CXM model is good for a lower price, I also like the Corsair M12II models since they have been having rebates on them so end up at a very good price https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817151095

Well, the msi nightblade is a compressed pc, whcih makes it very small of course, but the gpu is easily replaceable.
I dont know about the motherboard though.
Do you think you could look it up? U seem like the expert here.
Thanks for the answer btw :)

Power supply is the same 350w and both the 960 and the 1060 use the same amount of power under load. 960 is not a bad card, you don't really have to upgrade it for 1080 gaming. It's about the same speed as a 1050 Ti.

And are you having issues due to the video card in games? Or are you just reading that more ram is better so you want more? 6 bg vs 3 gb 1060 won't matter in power draw. If the 960 uses the same power as a 1060 and you are running a 960 now, it's simple logic to figure things out from there.
