MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 4GB - Need 5 monitors working!!

Hello everyone!

I have a flight simultator at home and just purchased a Msi Nvidia geforce gtx 960 4gb. I know that the card only supports 4 monitors, in my case 3 in surround plus 1 for extended desktop. The problem is, I need a 5th monitor working and I was told by people at the pc shop that it is possible to use the onboard graphic for that fifth monitor, all they need to do is install a program called virtu control panel "something"...
Is this possible? Can I just buy a cheap nvidia card and make it work just for that monitor or is there another solution for this? I don't want to buy another GTX 960 for SLI as it is too expensive for me.

What will you be using the 5th monitor for? It is possible, depending on your motherboard, to use it aswell, I do it with mine but you won't be able to power the game on it, if it is possible with your motherboard you could only use it for desktop apps and web browsing etc. What is your motherboard?

I will use the 5th monitor also as extended desktop: I need to use 3 monitors in surround for the outside view and the other 2 for instruments and engine gauges. The surround monitors are the primary display.
My motherboard is an MSI military class III...can't say the exact model at this time but I know that supports crossfire and sli, and also has an option in bios to use the internal gpu along with another card...just don't want to mess with bios because i'm no expert 🙁

If you plug a monitor into your onboard, you should be able to install your intel graphic drivers and the monitor should come on, as long as onboard graphics are enabled in the BIOS. You can't mess too much up in the BIOS, and if you do, just reset the CMOS 😛
