Question MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus

I have a chance to buy used computer from friend, he mostly gamed with it. I would like to buy it for my son who is not a gamer but will use it for photo editing and MS office 2019 apps like Excel. Will this video card work for his needs ok?

For Photo-editing & MS Office --- sure it will. It's a gaming card so it's easily enough for non-gaming applications.

To be honest if he has no intention of gaming at all this card is massively overkill. For Windows applications onboard graphics would be enough or at very least an older card like a 1060 which would be a third the cost.
