MSI NX7600GT Diamond Plus or the EVGA 7600GT OK Videocard???

Hello everyone. I am considering of purchasing a new graphic card for my new pc that i am building. I have two choices to choose from and would like to get some input on the specific cards that i have chosen.

Choice#1

MSI NX7600GT Diamond Plus Videocard

or

2nd Choice


EVGA 7600GT OK 256 Videocard

I am considering leaning towards the msi videocard more due to the fact that it has the latest MSI CoreCell-3D technology for graphic cards. I need some help with whome have already purchased either cards. It would be greatley appreciated.

check out evga,s website.

basically you buy an evga card and you can upgrade to another
higher card within 90 days for the price difference.

any card will work with just about any mobo.
it doesnt matter which brand.

Both are good. I just upgraded to the XFX 7600GS 2 days ago (from my $h!tty FX5700) and it's more than good enough. I played NFS Carbon on the maximum setting last night and it ran smooth. Your getting the GT so it should be even better. Maybe a link or 2 from where you are getting them from...

okay thats cool, but I would like to know which card out performs one another not which vendor gives good promotion offers. I just basically would like to know which card is better for my buck. you know what !!!

you can get most 76gt,s for around 100$ or a little more

and you wont see any difference between the two if you are gaming.


either one should be a good buy.

the (core cell) wont make any performance difference.
its like amds cool and quite or intels speedstep.

In all fairness I did ask for a link. If the step up doesn't matter (or he can't get it where he will buy the card) get the cheaper one. Same bang, less buck.

I was looking into the step up pro and it does sound good. But, "what if" and i mean what if, What would be the next card to step up to in the program. Would it be the latest card that would be out like i.e: 8800 or 7900 x2's what would the possibilities of recieving either card?

first im not doggin msi.
but yes if you bought an evga card say 76gt for say 100$
you could then upgrade to a 79gt for 200$ and pay only 100$


or an 8800.

imo that would be a good idea because nvidia will probably
come out with something like a 8600gt within 90 days from now.
that will be cheaper than the current 400$ 88gts and still be dx10 compatible.

the thing is you would have to ship your card back to evga and wait for the replacement.

and be with out a computer for a couple of days or however long it takes them to ship you the new card.
