I decided to revive my old build from 2011 currently running
AMD phenom x4 955 BE OC stable at 4.1ghz a core
MSI GTX 960 2gb
MSI 760gm fx+ MB
550w Corsair PSU

So my motherboard standard says it comes with OC genie a feature I never used as I always used Amd overdrive to clock but bios OC is a better option with more control however when I access my bios I have no OC genie bios option or any overclocking options but I still have the box my MB came in and it literally has on the front of the box Oc genie enabled. Is there something I’m missing here or?

Looking at the board manual online it also says it features oc genie in the bios on this MB and it should just be a option in bios called oc genie at the bottom but I don’t have this tab?

Solution
Yes I checked that as I saw a YouTube video of the exact MOB being OC using oc genie. I downloaded a 1.8mb bios update and installed it and now have the option to use OC genie not sure why it wasn’t here stock but the update seemed to fix it. Please file as solved or resolved and thank you for your time on assisting
Your board might have been an early model with a first release BIOS that got inadvertently included in the ones shipped with the newer box.

It should be in the Cell menu
