does anyone know if the OC switch on MSI motherboards OC's the memory and videocard or just the CPU. might use until i get a chance to get the hang of overclocking, migh not use. 770 chipset phenom II x4 925 cpu.

Actually, it overclocks reference clock (AMD HT clock or Intel base clock or FSB clock, depending on architecture). That means it also overclocks the RAM, since the RAM is set as a ratio of base clock.
If the Ram (FSB) is set at 200 and he hits the OC button it will only increase the CPU multiplier unless he has a profile set specifically to raise FSB. Well at least that's the way it is with "Easy OC switch".

Unless he has a Black Edition CPU, it cannot increase the multiplier and must instead increase HT clock.
