Question MSI Optix G27C, Free Sync/NVIDIA compatible?

I am currently using the aforementioned monitor and will be replacing my RX 580 with a RTX 2060 Super. That being said I have read that "most" of the MSI Optix line of monitors are able to use FreeSync via new drivers for the 20xx series cards.

I'm aware the monitor itself has mixed reviews but it still works well for me. I plan to upgrade to a 1440p monitor later down the line but all my money is going towards the card first and some extra fans

It may be a bit of a crap shoot. Saw a reddit post where some games worked but other flickered.
