Well, the 980 will definitely give you 60 frames in most games for the next few years. And I forgot one didn't have gsync, so I would go with msi. my bad.

if your monitor can support gsync go for msi if not then go for whatever looks nicer

oh i dont know if my monitor supports vsynch actually, i know its 1920x1080 samsung got it around 2 years ago

Well, the 980 will definitely give you 60 frames in most games for the next few years. And I forgot one didn't have gsync, so I would go with msi. my bad.

G-Sync is a gimmick. If you don't have, or aren't planning on getting a G-Sync monitor, then G-Sync in a gpu is absolutely useless. So scratch that as an importance. So with performance being almost exactly the same, its down to looks and price.

interesting..well i saw reviews on evga and quite a few ppl said they experienced crashes with it, since im paying so much its hard to overlook those comments. most said excellent card tho.

Some on here will tell you not to buy MSI because of quality control issues. Personally I would stick to Asus, EVGA or Gigabyte. But that's me. Check the warranties too.

i got it couple years ago the exact specs of the monitor im not sure its samsung, 42 inch 1920x 1080

Careful reading reviews. Every Same, Joe and Harry can review a product and claim to be a specialist and yet know very little overall. I'd check professional reviews first.

Edit: I've never had a problem with EVGA cards. One of my friends had a DOA 970 with EVGA. Had a new one less than week later.

im feeling kinda eh about amd atm and how they perform my 270x isnt that good and i hear nvidia is what most games are optimized to

The 270X was never a high end GPU, it was made to be mediocre

It would be kind of like looking at a GTX 760.

Evga has the best warranty and service dept bar none. They absolutely stand behind their products 100% and in all my dealings with them over the years, I've never had an issue with a replacement. It's true msi did have some shady dealings a few years ago, but that's supposedly been resolved. Warrantys are great to have, but are only useful if used. I personally have never had to replace any msi products, they've all lived out their expected lifetimes, but I have replaced an Evga board, a psu and a couple of gpus, so while it's great that Evga has such a good record for replacement, the fact I had to use it was somewhat disappointing. For what it's worth, I'd take the Evga SC over an msi armor2, but I'd take the MSI Gaming 4G over the Evga SC.
