Hello all,

I'm in the middle of building my first gaming computer. I've already purchased the MSI P67a-GD65 motherboard, Intel i5 2500K CPU, Cooler Master V8 and Corsair 8gb ram.

I'm undecided to get the Gainward Golden Sample GTX 560 ti or the MSI GTX Twin Frzr 2.

As I love the way the MSI graphics card blends in well with it's motherboard counterpart as recently reviewed in Custom PC the Gainward came out slightly better. But speaking of review, there are many good reviews on the MSI graphic card on YouTube but very few on the Gainward which tells me it might not be my better choice.

Apparently they both cost roughly the same so price is not an issue here. Just performance and reliability. Also towards the end of next year I would be wanting to buy a second one so I would like to purchase the newer one of the two in case it will be deleted by then.

All advice welcome. Thanks.

Both good makes and both good cards. The SLI in future availability would be a gamble which ever card you get. I feel that there would be more chance of getting a second MSI card though even if its second hand.

The MSI card is NOT louder than the Gainward or the Gigabyte card. Its cooler is pretty much industry leading and if you all look at the reviews of each card on Tweaktown you will see that with the sound test results.(Nice that they review all 3).

Personally i would go with the MSI card, The cooler the card the better for anything in a PC and that cooler will give you a chance of a better OC should you wish to try.
Of course the limit of any OC will be down to the chip but these cards are pretty good usually (no guarantee though)

Mactronix :)
