Msi or Sapphire hd 7850

Hello everyone!

So I am finaly going to upgrade my graphics for this I am going to buy a hd 7850 of some kind.

The local stores for me have mainly 2 cards in my price range, I wanted to ask you for your toughts which one would be better: cooling,

slight performance differences etc.

In the sapphire case I would have no problems to do overclocking so dont cover that please.

What res are you gaming at?

The Sapphire has much better cooling compared to the MSI one, I have that particular cooler you chose on my card, albeit its a 2GB 7850.

Sapphire haven't let me down in my dual card setup. If you were choosing a TF3 model instead of a standard reference model in MSI's case, then I would go for that.

What about noise levels of the sapphire card? Im gaming below 1080p so I dont really need more than 1gb of video ram.

Also im kinda leaning towards the sapphire one too.

The sapphire cooler is actually quite remarkable to be honest. In a single card setup, I leave my 7850 at 20% fan speed all the time, including games, and I rarely went past 70 degrees celcius. It is silent up to 40%, at which cooling performance is more than enough. 20% fan speed was enough for me 24/7. I also live in Australia which has an ambient currently at around 35 degrees celcius, so results are inflated somewhat.

Yeah, against that particular model from MSI, the sapphire card is way better.
