Hello, new guy here. I just purchased a new MSI P67A-C43 socket 1155 mother board with a Intel G1620 cpu and Kingston HyperX DDR3 RAM. I put all of this together with my old PSU and my video card an NVidia Geforce GT240.

When I try to start my system the fans come on, and the lights come on, but I get nothing else, no video, no beeps, nothing.

The GPU and PSU are both in use on a different computer right now and work fine, the CPU and RAM are new and I have tried a second one of each just to be sure, what could be wrong? Thanks :)

Okay, I fixed my own problem, the first two ram slots are bad and the second two are backwards, 4 is 3 and 3 is 4. PC will only boot if a stick is installed in slot four, and I can also put a chip in 3. If I put a chip in the other two slots the computer goes into an endless loop of rebooting even with the ram in slot 4. If you read this thread and have this problem or something similar feel free to message me here if you need more info :)
