hi, i am using 12100 as Cpu. do i really need B660 series or h610 is enough?

i am chosing btw
msi pro H610 (3000)
b660M-p (3850)
b660m-e (3200)
Asus prime b660 M-K (3840)
and price comparison is what i wrote in (x)
so mathematically, its possible to compare them....

also my other option is gigabyte or asus... but i think asus have unfair price tag since h610 prime is around (3300) and j can get b660 as MSI....
but gigabyte have same price as MSI

p.s: my other option is AMD 4650G +a520 , same price tag . although AMD have much better igpu , but i thought intel have better upgrade path

Where are you located, what sort of brands/boards do you have access to(meaning what your retailers have in stock) and what is your budget for your board? Might want to also mention the rams you're looking to pair with the board and your overall use case scenario. I wouldn't get any of those boards, or any board without a heatsink on their VRM area. To add, MSI's Pro series are more sort of a bottom of the barrel style board meaning componentry on it lackluster or horrible.

my usage is normal home use , with casual gaming that intel HD can handle
(Dota 2 or overwatch.....)
though i may later buy a D.GPU, thats why i hesitate about AMD because of PCI lanes....

i already have a Agies 3200 Ram but i can return it . and already ordered i3 12100.... because thats more than enough for me
(i had i5 4690 and it was OK)
basically i upgrade to use NVMe and also TpM2 and basically having new connectors.

Asus mSi, gigabyte , biostar are available around here.

i think only thing left is MoBO.... VRAM is the heatsink around PCIE? or... nvm i google this

I'll ask again, where is here ? What is your budget for your motherboard purchase? What is your preferred site for purchase?

You don't need to return it, if you have 2 sticks of DDR4-3200MHz rams, you're in good hands.

well, since i got no answer ,
i am going to choose between
Asus prime b660M-K
MSI pro B660M-P

they are having exactly same price tag ....
so, between these two, which one is better?

in favor of asus:
more NVme, heatsink for Vram, also more USB 3..... 5333 oc and i couldn't find anything more.... i wish i had more Sata

but , msi have 4slot ram + usb ....
