Msi proof of purchase

I've bought the Msi geforce gtx 1050 ti 4gt oc from Amazon. The shipment didn't include any receipts. When I tried to print the invoice from Amazon website, I've noticed that it doesn't has the serial number on it. If I ever need to RMA this gpu, do I have to send a receipt that include the serial number ? Can Amazon's invoice be used as proof of purchase even though it doesn't have the serial number ?

Probably not. All depends on the company. Some require it, some don't.

I just used the RMA to get my GTX 1060 3gb repaired and they did it for free just had to pay shipping, I got the card just 3 months ago and something already happen to it, so 3 months after purchase i set it up on MSI to register it and now its back and repaired. It took about 2 weeks though
