We feel similarly about the MSI K8T Neo2-FIR, which was somewhat a surprise as the socket 754 K8T Neo was a favorite. That may just be coincidence, but it raises concern about the quality assurance of this particular product.

Great, shipping charges for RMA's would cost as much as a new board. Selling December corn short: smart move! Sending three bad boards in a row to Anandtech for review: dumb move! :lol:

I sent 3 655 max boards back to msi for various problems. They finally sent me a brand new 865pe neo LS on the 4th try. Your concerns are valid. The new board works fine, and I have no complaints about msi's customer service.

I'm running an MSI 645DX board, and have never had any problems with it.

Maybe a bad batch of boards?
