I just got the MSi R7 240 2GB DDR3 today, I put it in my computer, installed the latest drivers and every time I go to play games such as Rust or Garry's Mod, the game likes to freeze after doing an action such as opening and closing a menu in game. I have Windows 10 Home Edition, an ASUS A55BM-PLUS Motherboard with an EVGA 500W PSU, an A6 7400K AMD APU with Radeon R5 graphics, and for RAM G.Skill RipjawsX F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL (2X4GB) DDR3 1866MHz. Any help to find a fix for this would be amazing, this is my first time building a computer, so I don't really know what I'm doing. I know this is quite a bit and I would like any help. Thank you so much.

Solution
It might be a software glitch pertaining to the change in gfx drivers. You might want to start over...
Run DDU from safe mode: www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/download/DDU%20v15.7.3.1.exe

Have it uninstall any Nvidia and AMD driver and its remnants it finds. Boot to Win and then run CCleaner: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Do the Clean and Registry portions both.

That should clean up any old driver issues in the registry and most software conflicts.
