Hello,

My specs i7 2600k, 8 gb 1333 mhz kingston hyper x,, p67 gd65 mb (b3) 750 watt, msi r7950 3gb

Trying to play bf 4 on ultra settings msaa off, game doesnt run really smooth? Is it my rig or my gpu? Fps runs from 35 in close combats to 70-80 non combat. Paracel storm almost unplayable. Latest beta drivers btw.

Anyone tips? Vsync on or off? Oc my 7950?

When my gpu run at stock I get around 79 / 80 degrees. Oc my card a little, core clock 1000, memmory tried at 1300 with afterburner, fan speed at 70 / 80 %, power limit 20%. More fps now. Temp around 78 degrees. Beginner in oc, anyone got tips with similar rig and for bf 4?

Talking about mp.

The game seems to run more smooth with vsync on, but less fps and u seem to be slower.

Its hard to get the rite settings, running it stable and smooth. Curious how other 7950 users do it.

As a 7950 user the lowest fps i got in MP is around 40 with all stats max in a 64 plyer server, be aware that less players means moer fps.

As for Temps, at max load i have max of 66C~68C couse of great case ventilation + side fan that blows at my GPU directly - so your temps are a bit high not to dengerous but enough to decrees your performance a little.

Vsync off by Default ! its a rule for higher fps in most games.

My Default setting are: 1920x1080 msaa off, aa x8 or just choose the "high"

So u got it on high settings instead of ultra?

U overclocked ur 7950? If yes what ur settings in afterburner?

For maintaining the fun of playing with good visuals combined with decent fps i play on high but only in MP, SP is on ultra ofc.

my 7950 is only 3 months old so i didn't OC it yet but it will be soon to come.

You should know that every card has its own limits even it they have the same factory specs, so if you concider OC follow these guide (its a video):

Note that your gpu is way too HOT for OC at this time so:
Put as many fans as you can in your case, clean your PC from one in a while, get a side fan! If you dont have a case with a good airflow then thats the 1st thing to do before OC

Good Luck

Staying under 80 degrees will be good or? ReaD somewhere you should worry when you get above 90 degrees?

Ill set the fans to 80 or 90 procent. Headphones for the win.
