The problem with my Rig is:- A cheap 450W PSU.

I did a 3 month long survey on graphic cards, about which would suit my budget and rig, and after I mentioned my crappy PSU to some of my old gaming buds, some of them said that the PSU would fart the life out of my system, while some said that it would work. Now, before I planned to murder my PSU by flinging it out of the window, I want a one last professional opinion upon this. Now, all I want to know, is the MSI R9 270 compatible with my PSU (Connection requirements)? If yes, can my PSU handle the card for atleast 2-3 months? (I'll get a decent PSU after that).

The card:- http://www.flipkart.com/msi-amd-r9-270-gaming-2-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdv8qbrmyv24e5?pid=GRCDV8QBNGPRP2UC&cmpid=content_graphics-card_8965229628_gmc_pla&tgi=sem,1,G,11214002,g,search,,25649953100,1o2,,,c,,,,,,,&gclid=CNyH84SQlb4CFUUmjgodyKYAmQ

The PSU:- http://www.kunhar.com/vipcabinets/smps04.html

P.S If possible, don't curse the poor PSU :'(

*System Specs:- Core i5 3330 Quad 3.2 Ghz
1.2 TB HDD @5400 rpm
8 GB ddr3 ram 1333 MHz

You can try it, but don't use the system too much until you get another PSU.
I would get at least a 600W psu so that there won't be any problem while gaming. Also, psus are usually compatible with gpus as long as they meet the wattage requirement.

Hi,
The PSU has the required 1 X 6 Pin PCIE power cable for the GPU, but i can't find the amperage on the 12v Rails. I would advise you not to power the R9 270 on that PSU. That is just my opinion.
Plus i don't know the rest of your system

Edited the topic. My system specs are as stated.
