I am wondering which graphics card is better in general for Graphics ability for running games such as COD Advanced Warfare, CS GO, and Battlefield 4

The 270x actually holds up quite well despite being a tier down. The true competitor of the gtx960 is the R9 280x.

However to keep it simple, if i have to pick out of those two cards i would pick the EVGA GTX 960! Hope this helps

Those games you mentioned all run better with the 960, but you might want to check for some sales on a 970, in some areas those 2 cards only have a 50$ difference. Anyhow, 960 is plenty and very good value for money. Also it is supposedly getting full directX 12 support, unlike any of the current and cards. Also if you are not in a hurry you could wait for AMD 3xx series, but I cannot guarantee it is worth it.

It´s not so black and white, depends on usage. The OP needs to do some googleing.

Was talking about the part where you mentioned that there would be no point in getting the 4GB version.

Lol no one uses 960gtx is sli because its a low medium range card you people do not understand about graphics its the GPU bits that makes the difference not the bus or band width with extra GPU memory means crap it just does not have to utilize the on board memory the gtx 960 is a 128 bit GPU compared two the medium high r270x which is 256bit GPU not memory its graphics bit unit . man you people have no idea you read a few came tests with different hardware and direct x draw not the same plus bench marking a card with all those other factors I've said some games better some not its like saying a Volvo is just as good as a merc lol make your choice's wisely I am telling you no if you can't afford the gtx970 or above . if you want a good budget card go with 270x or above. Remember bit vs memory there is a difference rather go with higher bit GPU as that is future proof not a crap 128 bit low end card. Future proof 12 months. There is no point yo bench marks unless you use the same hardware os direct x and updates all the same its in game that makes the differance you can have faster frames with a crapper card but the graphics quality gets smashed bye a higher bits its like saying a 128 bit vs 384 or 256bit .that the 128 beats both come on people wake up. Years ago nvidia made 64 bit GPU s saying it was faster then a 256 bit . its funny nvidia still can't even build a single 1024 bit GPU . nvidia never makes card for the future gaming its for the moment 6 12 months to make more money. Nothing in quality.
