MSI r9 270x HAWK out of range

Hi, I am Dutch so don't judge me on my Englisch I have a MSI r9 270x Hawk graphics card. Suddenly my monitor went to "display out of range" I can get it to work via HDMI but that gives some green stripes in the screen.

Anyone who knows what happend. I think its broke.

Post your system specs.
Do you have an integrated GPU?
If you do try connecting your monitor to that.
Can be a GPU problem aswell.

Mainboard Gigabyte B85M-HD3, intel i5 - 4460, win 10 64bit, PSU 500watt, integrated GPU (works fine). Other displaycard does display correct. CORRECTION in the original question I mean NOT HDMI but D-SUB

Then your GPU is faulty... most likely you need to change it.

I am afraid to. I wil try a fix in the oven (to try to melt some points) if not then its a loss. But thanks.

You can try reflowing it yes... but it's a GPU problem.
If you said that everything works other than that r9 270x... the card is the problem for sure.

Yeh, I think your right. But I have nothing to lose

It's a small chance that reflowing may work (I haven't had any luck with it). There's definitely nothing to lose.

I think too it's a small change but wil update if it works or not.

Well, I put the print in the oven 175 Celsius for 10 minutes and at the moment i'am using the card and it works fine.
Now see for how long

It seems like I'm quite unlucky with it.

I think my luck is (for how long it works) that I knew that de card was bent a little and less cooling-flow experienced. Now I try another card in the oven.

The second card stays dead.
