MSI R9 270x Underclocking Itself

Hello i have a problem with my msi r9 270x gaming 2g it keeps underclocking itself to 300mhz when the defulut clock should be 1080mhz any hellp

its fine for it to do that under idle conditions. This is so it can conserve power and stay cooler and quiet when not in use.

Those are the 'idle' clocks, nothing wrong with that. Under load it will use the full clocks.
Some games that are very easy on the gpu can also make the card run at its idle clocks but in these cases the performance is enough to hit some in-game performance cap, so more power is not needed.
